Stories: Take the Bridge NYC
Take the Bridge hosted their Spring race in NYC in partnership with Hoka. This meant that the start and finish would be from the Hoka flagship in Flatiron. Congrats to all who participated, this was a solid turnout and a fast course.

Bike support is crucial when running through Manhattan at night. Remember to buy your bike pacer a beer (or don’t but I’ll judge you.)
Darcy at the start, there are always some rules to unsanctioned races. Most of them involve safety. No race is worth you life.
Heading west to the WSH. I remember hearing “what fucking pace is this?” and someone replied “fuck if I know.”
In between two checkpoints with The city as backdrop, we are privileged to race here.
It’s wise to run with your phone in your hand during these races, for map purposes.

Despite the cold, the community came out to support and cheer. Hi Jessie.

As it happens, NYPD prevented me from following the runners across one of the checkpoints. I lost folks for a bit but was able to find my friends from Team WEPA as they cruised north towards the finish.
Style points for going under the arch to connect with 5th ave. Hell of a race.
